Referee Training

How to register for a Referee Course?
STEP 1:
- Login (or sign up an account) at http://www.AYSO2.org
- Sign up as a volunteer and eSign the application form
- Follow the instruction (sent to your email) for the Background Check - DO NOT PAY the US$25 fee; Region 2 has already covered it.
STEP 2:
- Login to https://www.AYSOU.org with the same username/password
- To attend REQUIRED online courses for ALL volunteers
- Click on "Online Courses" tag on top
- Click "Open" button next to "Safe Haven Courses"
- Click "Open" button next to "AYSO's Safe Haven" or "CDC HEADS UP Concussion Training" or "Sudden Cardiac Arrest Online Course"
- Click "Launch" button(s) to complete all modules
- To attend online Regional Referee Training Course
- Click on "Online Courses" tag on top
- Click "Open" button next to "Refereeing Courses"
- Click "Open" button next to "Regional Referee Training"
- Click "Launch" button(s) to complete all modules & exam
After then, you can register the In-Person Course: Regional Referee Online Companion Course to complete the Regional Referee Certificate.
*** Note that 8U Official Course is not recommended unless you are in 7U division only.
- To attend In-Person Companion Course
- Click on "In-Person Courses" tag on top
- Click "Open" button next to "Referee Instructor Led Courses"
- Click "Open" button next to "Regional Referee Online Companion Course"
- Click "Sessions" button next to "Regional Referee Online Companion Course"
- Look for the desired date/time/location
- To view the details, click on Course Name
- To register this course, click "Register" button
- To unregister this course, click on Course Name and then click on "Unregister" button
AYSO Region 2 will have 2 courses on 8/23 Monday and 8/31 Tuesday at Arcadia City Hall Field.
In this year, Region 2 restructure the Online Companion Course into 3 parts:
PART-1 - Online ZOOM Presentation (30 minutes) - contact RDI@ayso2.org for invitation
* 8/24 Tuesday 7:00pm to 7:30pm
* 8/27 Friday 7:00pm to 7:30pm
* 9/1 Wednesday 6:20pm to 6:50pm
PART-2 - Review the Online Course material (75 minutes)
PART-3 - Mechanic & Q&A (75 minutes)
All 3 parts must be completed (in any order) to receive the full course credit.

If you wish to attend the 8-hour in-person course instead of the Online Referee Course,
- Login to https://www.AYSOU.org with the same username/password
- You still need to first complete "AYSO's Safe Haven", "CDC HEADS UP Concussion Training", and "Sudden Cardiac Arrest Online Course" described above
- Click on "In-Person Courses" tag on top
- Click "Open" button next to "Referee Instructor Led Courses"
- Click "Open" button next to "Regional Referee Course"
- Click "Sessions" button next to "Regional Referee Course"
- Look for the desired date/time/location
- To view the details, click on Course Name
- To register this course, click "Register" button
- To unregister this course, click on Course Name and then click on "Unregister" button
AYSO Region 2 does not plan to offer this in-person, indoor training during the Pandemic period.
